  Just returned and had a lovely weekend with Martin and George at Pelham Lodge. My partner and I have stayed a few times and have always been happy.   Lovely warm & clean rooms, comfy beds, excellent choices for breakfast.. Nothing is a problem for Martin, Jorge, & their team. Perfect for shops, bars & very central.   Pelham Lodge is our favourite place to stay in Blackpool; it’s central to all local amenities - Martin and the team are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms and en-suite are immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated, the breakfast is always cooked fresh to order and is delicious I can’t fault Pelham lodge at all - this place is a hidden gem as it also contains an incredible puppet museum which houses hundreds of rare puppets from Punch and Judy to incredible Pelham puppets and rare ventriloquist figures Martin is always happy to give a guided tour and answer any questions on these fabulous puppets - we can’t wait to visit Martin again soon. • Magical Hidden Gem

  Magical, now my favourite Blackpool Hotel! We had a warm welcome from Martin, who is clearly an entertainer, delighted by 11 year old son with magic tricks. We were lucky enough to see the Puppet Museum as well, and it was one of the highlights of the entire trip. The room was a decent size and very clean, with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV, a hairdryer, and even a fan. Bathroom spotless. The breakfasts were great too - especially the sausages. A s welcoming place, and very convenient for North Pier and Blackpool Tower. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next year, I hope! Alan October 2025

• Top Fo The Bill

  This is one of the top BBs in Blackpool, in my view. From the moment you arrive. Martin and Jorge make you feel at home. The rooms are spotless with all the extras you need: tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and even water. The shower room has nice shampoo and conditioner all there. Breakfast is one of the best cooked by Martin, it sets you up for the day. If you’re heading to Blackpool. This is the place to stay. John July 2025

  From arriving at the Pelham Lodge, Martin was so welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean. Had a great stay and would come back. The rooms were cleaned each day with fresh bottled water, and the rooms had all the facilities that you would require for your stay. Location is great. Would highly recommend. Scot June 2025

• Fabulous stay over New Year

  The hosts Martin and Gorges were fantastic, so friendly and accommodating, in fact, all the staff were. We arrived on New Year’s Eve, and were treated to a lovely box of chocolates on the bed to celebrate. On New Year’s Day, we had champagne for breakfast! Along with haggis, salmon and the finest cheeses. It was really special and unexpected, and very much appreciated. The room was super clean and comfortable, and excellent value for the money.   A one-night stay at the cosy Pelham Lodge. As always, nothing was too much trouble for Martin and Jorge. The room was warm, well-appointed, and comfortable, with a large bathroom. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. Steven November 2024

  Once checked in, you are left alone; if you need anything, you can just go to reception. Lovely & clean just what you want. A lovely full English breakfast and nothing is too much trouble.   Price, within walking distance of the Winter Gardens, cleanliness, owner and staff cannot do enough to make the stay perfect, food is really good with good selection. Stayed for last 3 years and will be back in 2025. Derek July 2024

  This place is obviously a labour of love for Martin and his team. A warm greeting, immaculately clean rooms with tea, coffee biscuits and lots of products in the bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Very quirky collectibles everywhere. Cute place and great value. Tami Jan 2024

• Lovely Stay.

  Stayed for 2 nights. Martin is a great host, who made a big fuss over our children who were competing in a dance competition over the weekend. Family room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Had a great stay and would highly recommend the Pelham Lodge David Nov 2023

• Handy and friendly location

  Pelham Lodge is close to Blackpool North Pier and the Winter Gardens/Tower. It is a gem of a guest house, the staff are really friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is very good.Knocked one star off as there was a very nice spa bath in our room but we couldn't use it as the install hadn't been completed. Looking forward to seeing this working in the future - we will definitely be back. Jamie - July 2022

  Thoroughly enjoyable with genuinely attentive hosts who were keen to ensure that we enjoyed our time with them. We are three female adults, myself sister and mother and our stay was a 'girly weekend' of shopping eating and fun! We liked everything: The complimentary parking, Very comfortable beds, The location, Immaculate bedroom which accommodated our needs perfect, The breakfast was delicious! Paulina - April 2022
