Fabulous, welcoming and cosy

I booked here for a little one night get away and it was fabulous. From when I booked, I felt it was going to be good. I got a very lovely phonetical the day before my arrival off the Manager Martin and that really made the stay and made me feel welcomed before I even arrived. All the staff I encountered where welcoming and hospitable. Nothing was too much Its so close to train station, winter gardens and the prom....but not in the hustle and bustle so its a bit quieter and it was a lovely nights sleep...bed was comfortable and the room itself was spotless, comfy and just what I needed. Brekkie was yummy and very quickly done..but fresh and done exact to my needs. Martin is fabulous and made me feel very welcome and I watched him also with other guests and he is fab and very chatty to people...which is great as it makes you feel like a proper guest and not just £££. I absolutely LOVED my stay here and will be back again Thank You Martin and Staff for a great stay!!!

Excellent value

I stayed at the Pelham Lodge in Blackpool for 3 nights. It is more a guest house than a hotel and I usually stay in hotels, so I was a bit worried what it would be like. I had no need to worry. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful when I asked about trams and tickets. The front door is locked and you get a key, so that there is no need to worry about random people coming in. My room was on the ground floor and was spacious with a huge ensuite with a Jacuzzi bath. I think it has recently been done up as it all seemed quite new, as did the double glazing. The room was clean with a wardrobe and loads of drawers. The tea tray was better than I've seem in some hotels, with different teas, coffee, hot chocolate, bottles of water and biscuits. The bed was comfortable although a bit soft for me. Breakfast was plentiful - lots of different types of cereal, yoghurts, fruit juice and cooked breakfasts to order - and the staff were very attentive ensuring that you always had enough toast and tea or coffee. The location is ideal, a five minute walk to the North Pier, but there isn't a lot of noise at night. It is also a five minute walk to the train station. I thought it was excellent value for money with a full breakfast included.

Fantastic

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this great B&B 10-15 August 2015. We stayed in the very comfortable and spacious family room at the top. The place itself is ideally located just north of the Tower and within easy reach of the train station and tram, but also only a short walk from many of the attractions and eateries. The B&B is very clean, comfortable and welcoming and the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast has an excellent choice and is plentiful, really setting you up for the day, and really tasty! The addition of balloon animals being made by the chef, was a great little extra for the kiddiwinks who were delighted with them. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to both visit again and recommend to friends and family. Thanks to all the staff. Stayed August 2015, travelled with family.

Lovely, friendly hotel

Six of us stayed here for two night. The hotel is clean and the owners, Martin and Jorge, are a delight. The hotel is situated in a good area for both town ans beach. The hotel is not licensed but there are plenty of bars close by. Breakfast is delicious and plenty of it.

Brilliant, loved everything about it

We stayed two nights after reading reviews about Pelham Lodge. We had a twin room on the top floor which was immaculate and very comfortable. We loved the hospitality from Martin. We were greeted out of the rain by a tray of tea and biscuits and were made to feel so welcome. Breakfast was perfect as was the beautiful building.
